Summer Micro Wedding in Estes Park

There is nothing better than a Summer Wedding in One of Colorado’s most beautiful mountain towns, Estes Park.

What makes it even better is when the venue is as perfect as Wild Basin Lodge.

I had the absolute honor of capturing Lauren and Austin’s intimate and heart warming Micro Wedding there as they celebrated their love the entire day. Complete with an emotional first look, stunning details, sunset portraits, and plenty of odes to their doggo best friend.

As a Colorado Wedding Photographer, these kinds of days, and love stories really fuel my passion behind the lens.

THE COUPLE

Lauren and Austin share an equivalent joy for adventure, good music, their sweet pup Charley, and of course their love for each other, which was all radiating and reflected in every detail of the day.

From missing each other while getting ready, to sweet personal river side vows, and a first dance under a beautiful setting sky, it was a day full of genuine moments, shared by two people who are very much so in love.

WEDDING DETAILS

The wedding took place at Wild Basin, which is an off the road cabin styled venue in Estes Park, Colorado. Equipped with spacious rooms for couples to get ready on site the morning of that Is big enough to include your friends and family.

The venue also has a beautiful wrap around deck that leads to a rushing river that was perfect for Lauren And Austin’s First look and private vows before the Ceremony.

The Ceremony site was complete with a mountain back drop and a dreamy floral arch.

As the evening approached, dinner and cocktail hour were held on the balcony of the venue which provided a perfectly intimate setting for a micro wedding.

As the speeches and toast commenced, dancing began with first dances being held under twinkling lights at dusk.

The night ended on the dance floor as the Bride and Groom danced and cut cake with their 25 closest friends and family,

Lauren used her incredible creative eye and to create all their signage, drink tags & name settings.

All the florals were put together with family and friends, which made the day even more personalized and meaningful to know they were all created by people who loved them most.

FAVORITE MOMENTS

Although the entire day was spent documenting such a beautiful chapter of Lauren and Austin’s Love story. A couple moments of the day truly stand out as favorite moments.

Dinner was definitely one of those moments. I loved seeing how personal and Intimate with their guest the Bride and Groom felt while everyone sat at one long table on the deck of the Venue.

The flowers and candles on the table really set the mood as everyone at the table got to go around and speak love to the bride and groom. The groom then told personal stories and thanked everyone personally for being apart of their special day.

This led into my next favorite part of the day which of course was Newly Wed photos.

The setting was perfect during our time to take Newly Wed Photos, The sun was setting, the venue grounds were private and quiet with a sense of romance in the air as we ran around capturing the couples true connection.

The couple laughed together, had moments to soak in the whole day, and danced under a setting sky.

Moments like these are what I live for as a Wedding and Elopement photographer.

WHY I LOVED THIS WEDDING

Every wedding is so special, but this one stood out to me for how intimate and intentional it was. Every detail had purpose, and every person there was a part of Lauren and Austin’s story. I love how family oriented it was and how every friendship and family member was there to lift the Newly Weds up in love and support.

Lauren and Austin spent the whole day smiling, laughing, and dancing.

It was a wedding that reminded me of how truly special it is to capture these moments for my couples and why I love being a wedding photographer.
